I have been painting trees this spring. Seeing trees and how the light flows through the branches and leaves and creates shadows. I have been discovering how many greens there are and how to make them cooler or warmer or more earthy. The more you look, the more you see. Spring is my favprite time of the year and I love the brief season of lush growth and moist grass before everything goes dry again.
