Lots of people came to my opening reception last night at Sweeties Art Bar, where I had my first solo painting show. Sweeties is a wonderful little North Beach bar, owned by Flicka McGurrin, a fellow Dolphin, who also owns Pier 23. Shout out to Laura Atkins, who invited me to be the featured artist for the month of August and did a great job organizing it all. Great to see lots of old friends and sell some work. Great to see Sherry O’Donnell, Chris Thorman, Cynthia Coppi, Ken Frank, Barry Christian, Marie and Nico Van Dongen, Susan Mullaney, Lalit Natkarni and so many others.
